That was a steal! I paid I think a little over $400 for mine in stainless in late '05 I think it was. Went the custom ceramic coating from a local shop with a very good reputation and had well over $600 in mine.

Hemi1980: You need to get over your fear of "wrenchin" and dive in and do some of this stuff! My 20 year old niece built the intake on her Wrangler herself. Gonna cost you some serious labor $$$ if you're thinking headers and full exhaust, kid. Hell, I been welding my own exhausts since before I was old enough to LEGALLY drive the vehicle. Even headers on these trucks are easy, everything is right there to get to, once you take the plastic wheel well liners off. The biggest problem with paying someone to do this stuff nowadays, is you never really know what kind of work you're gonna get until after it's done. Seen some guys on here get RIPPED big time on some REALLY sh*tty work...

I'm new to this forum. I've got a 2005 daytona 5.7 hemi quad cab 4x4 all stock. I got the diablo sport predator ordered and I am going to go with a magnaflow muffler & y-pipe after reading your discussions. I'm away from my truck for the next month or so but want to get the parts ordered. So as for muffler, is it right to order 3" single in, 3" dual out, just don't want to order wrong parts since I can't check the truck right now.

Thanks

I would do single 3" out or dual 2.5" out
