What about some 2" coil spacers like a leveling kit could I add those to and then get some bigger blocks for the back? Along with a body lift?

Combining a level kit (which is technically a poor man's suspension lift) and a true suspension lift is not recommended. Matter of fact, none of the three 4x4 shops I've been associated with would touch it, although I do know that people have done it.

You're talking 5" + 2" of suspension lift and then 3" of body lift for 10" of over-all lift what size tires are you looking to run. I'm assuming your Mega is a CTD? I don't think the Hemi would be able to move the truck, LOL...

Now, now, play nice Hammer. michael my hemi moves my truck just fine, been re-geared though. I have to agree a body lift would be the option w/out changing lifts.

I am with hammer on the tire size!! What are you gonna run some 40's? Why not take the 5" lift off and just get a bigger one from like top gun customz or someone?

Taking the 5in off and buying one of the more custom longarms will be ridiculously expensive. There is nothing wrong with a bodylift, and it adds 3 inches no matter what. A mega with 8in of lift is huge.

I agree that a 3" body lift makes sense. You will need the PA 60143 kit because of the chassis it sits on. That's the kit for the 2500.

The 1500 Megacabs are basically a 2500 chassis with the front end of a 1500. Sometimes they used the steering colum from the 1500, sometimes they used the one from the 2500. That's where things get dicy. You may have the steering column from a 1500, in which case you'll need whatever retailer you are buying from to order this special for you.

Here are the instructions. They both show the steering columns. Figure out which one you have and move from there. Other than that, it's a pretty simple install. Set aside a day, have a friend come help you, feed said friend pizza and beer and get 'er done.
