Default Dodge ram suspension lift

Hello everybody! I just joined this forum today, and i hope im doing this right... Ok so I currently have a 2002 Ram 1500 2wd and I've been looking to install a suspension lift on it. Ive been looking around mainly 3" due to my price range and I found one today Im curious about- http://www.roughcountry.com/dodge_2wd_02-05_3.html. It seems kind of cheap, but Im not sure since im new to lifts and all. Does this have all that I need to lift my truck. And I was wondering if any of yall have ever heard of this brand, is it any good? What other lift kit would you recommend, 3-4" preferably.

Rc is a good company and a lot of people seem to prefer them over fabtech. It should come with everything you need if you do go over 3" then you would need to extend your break lines. Have you thought of a body lift

Ya, I've looked at body lifts, my brother is currently installing a 3" on his f-150. It does seem like a lot more work, but that doesnt really bother me. I dont know to much about lifts and all, and I was just wondering whats the advantages to having one over the other. It seems that the body lifts are a lot cheaper.

If you are just wanting to do 3-4 inches, I would just buy a set of $270 spindles, which are 3in. If you want more, get a set of spacers, like 2in ($80) . Then, you can do a body lift on top of that ($320). For the rear, you do a 3in block/ubolts ($100 tops). Shock extenders for the spacers are like $8 or you can buy new shocks.

For $770, you get 8+ inches of lift. All of which you can install yourself. Or if you want just 5in, you could do a body lift and a spacer for the front. Or you can do spacer and spindle and block and not a body lift. Tons of things you can do. Ive done all of them in my garage.

I like the idea of the spacer + spindle and blocks on the rear. I think I will start off with that, and maybe add a body lift in the future when i get the time and more money lol. I really like the lift you got on your truck, it looks real nice. Do you have any recommendations on the spindle/ blocks, like any certain brand?

I dont think you can go wrong with stuff from pricebusterchris off of ebay. Its airbagit stuff. the spacer I would get from Fatbobsgarage and daystar is the brand. Blocks are generic, get the cheapest you can find. Dont forget the shock extenders.

Ok, those all sound good. Here's what im thinking about, i think ill go with a 1.5" spacer from Daystar, and then once i get that ill do a 3" spindle lift and whatever size block to make it look right and completely level. I know this sounds noobish, but im new to these lifts, but whats the shock extenders? Do i need them for the front and rear with this combo? Is there any certain size that I would need, or are they all just the same?
