Can't wait to get back from Iraq!!!
SO while I was home on leave I purchased a 2004 1500 QC Hemi. The previous owner already had an exhaust on it. Can't remember the name of it but it started with a W. It sounds alright. Not too loud and it's not too noticeable until I punch the accelerator.
Other then the exhaust the truck is all basic, or was. I installed a 57 K&N on it, only took me 2 hours. I ordered me some smoked head, tail, and 3rd brake lights but they didn't arrive in time for me to install them. So they are just sitting at the house waiting for me to put in.
When I got back here to Iraq yesterday I ordered a skyjacker 6", EGR bolt on look fender flares, and NASTA black powder coated nerf bars. THe worst thing about ordering them now is I can't install them. So as one might gather I am pretty excited to be getting back home so I can install all of the above. Only have 2 months left so it should go by quick, or at least it better!!!
Also thinking about ordering some new gears while I am here. Possibly some 4.56s. Not too sure. Still confused on what I should do from that aspect. Should probably buy a steering stabilizer seems how I am wanting to put 20" rockstars and 35" Toyos on it once I get the lift complete, yeah? I think so.
I do know that this is my first full-sized truck and I can't wait to do all those modifications to it. It's exciting being a truck owner. Oh and fyi, I will be doing all of the mods myself. No need to pay the expensive labor costs. I figure it is a great way to get to know my baby. Of course I'll take it in to do a realignment and things of the such but for the most part everything that will be done with it, I'll do myself.
HAPPY TRUCKIN!!!!!!

Just created my new sig with a picture of it. The pic is of the truck still in the parking lot of the dealership as I was doing the paper work to buy it. I'll post some better ones once I get home.
Congrats on the truck. Now you just need to get home safe and get to modding.
If you ever feel like you wallet is getting heavy, just hop on DF and watch the list of "to come" mods grow and grow, it will keep that wallet on a diet.
