I agree that much more than a true 4" and it gets to be much. I am 6'1" and i wouldn't want my bed any higher than it is. My wife is 5'2" and she has had her share of falls out the truck from being so high. I think my 6" bds lift is a pretty true lift as far as front and back as i still have the factory rack, but i really think it did only about 5" because the guys with the 2500 and 35" nitto trail grapplers are just barley lower than me.

Hey Hammer, how does your truck handle with the 4" lift compared to when it was stock? Are you using any steering stabilizers?

If anything, ride quality is better even on pavement. A little bit of lean when hitting it around turns, but raise the center of gravity and that's just gonna happen. Don't notice near as much lean as when I had 3" body lifts that I've had on three trucks before though.

No steering stabilizer, I don't really think there is any benefit in a steering stabilizer on an IFS truck with a rack, myself. Others may disagree...
