Default onboard air system

You guy don't know me I hang out over on the 2nd gen section. But my dad has an 07 2500 cummins and I wanted to show you the onboard air system I made for my dads truck.
I found a 5 gal aluminum air tank rated for 150 psi. and a viair 380C compressor with 100% duty cycle at 100 psi and 200Psi max. We used a 150psi switch with a built in relay. I talked him into using flat stock to plate the frame rather than drilling it. We used 1/4'' stock for the plates. I gave him a picture of the mounting plate that viair sells and he made his own with sides on it. I mounted the air filter in the bed. I think it came out good for a last second project. We went down to a beach that had no paved roads in the town and you had to drive on the beach for 45 min to get there we needed to air the tires back up when we got back on the pavement.
What do you guys think?

looks good but my only concern is if you do any off roading or mudding. Looks unproteced right there. maybe add a custom skid plate/cover to it.

No his truck is lucky to see a gravel road he says mud just tears them up. so no off roading. His truck is too long to offroad any way its a maga cab. But a skid plate would be a good idea.

Looks good. Ive got almost the same thing with a tank and Viair 380C and love it. I keep mine at 200psi.

It is good to keep a quick disconnect coupler in the tank for an air hose should you ever need it

When we got off the beach each time and needed to air up we used the onboard air it took about 15 min to fill the back two tires to 45 and the front two to 60.
There was a compressor at the place we rented the house we stayed in from and it took so long to even put 45 in one tire let alone 60 in the front.
