I am guessing your looking at heads, cam, gears, converter. There are guys running 12's in quad cabs, 13's should be somewhat easy (i didn't say cheap though)

yea really the only thing I have going for me is a big beastly motor in the smallest based 2wd ram you can find. she is pretty quick the way it is now. but yes, the harder part will be finding a tune that can take advantage of the cam. If I get ported and polished heads, exhaust and intake... that right there should be an ample gain. then throw on a full 3" exhaust with ceramic coated long tubes, a k&n intake, and an sct tune that can slow down torque management, put the rear tires to about 20 psi and get some traction bars... I think 13's are possible... we'll seee here shortly. Im looking around for a reputable shop that will swap the heads for me. the guy from inertia said he would wave the core charge as long as I sent him back my heads.

Don't really have much to report with mine which is why i cant wait to hear yours LOL.
I rarely go over 70 so the truck is more of a 0-speed limit hole shot truck which she moves out pretty hard.

Unless you want to dress up the bay or you get a unbeatable price on a 6.1 conversion then i would just stick with the truck manifold.

As much as I like my truck I'd probably trade it on an SRT10 before spending that kind of cash on the Hemi!
your truck is huge compared to mine, mine went 15.2 totally stock. 20's = bad for the 1/4 mile

talked to the inertia guy online today... Im probably going to do the crazy jay cam with performance heads. this will probably net me 80-100 horsepower to the wheels... and GET RID OF THE GOD DAMN TICK! He recommended that cam because i dont plan on doing anything about raising the stall. headers with a catless 3" exhaust, and a gear swap I bet money I can hit 13.99's

As long as you can tune for the heads go for it. I am going with a set of ther Big Valve heads here shortly (I hope) and a new valve body. Should get me into the low 13's I hope, all motor.

To hit low 13's, I wish but it probably wont happen on all motor. Need to get at the very least some slicks under it

You don't want even a little more stall? I hope to do that one day even if I don't touch the engine itself.

A better conveter (even at stock stall) will free up a good deal of parasitic loss through the drivetrain, somewhere around 25-30rwhp. Just make sure you MATCH THE STALL TO YOUR MODS
