Default removal/paint of interior trim...

hey guys,

I just picked up a 06 quad, laramie. love it, besides the wood grain radio bezel and the door spears. Anyone have a write up on how to take them off and paint them? Or does anyone want to trade? Looking for the silver ones. Also any write ups on the debadging? I took off 1 Hemi logo. Its a lil off color under neath. I cant imagine what the Ram 1500 would look like under. Thanks guys

There are two writeups on de-badging one here... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...ser-wheel.html
The other here... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...our-truck.html

There is a writeup about painting radio bezels for 02-05 for which the technique should be the same, as for removal refer to the manual.
Writeup is here... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...dio-bezel.html

Manual is here... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...-download.html

Wax should help with the paint color match.

thanks, do you how to get the paint back to normal color? I took off the Hemi sign and under it was a light orangish color. I mean its not bad but you can def tell the hemi sign was there if you look hard/close enough. WIll it eventually even out?

Buff it all with a good wax, it should blend nicely

Hit it with a semi coarse compound. In my case I would use wizards finish cut follwed by the super shine. Wizards has great products. Google them!
