2005 1500 radio quit working, cd works

2005 1500 radio quit working, cd works
The radio just quit, it scans but does not pick up any stations but the cd player works fine. I checked the wire to the antenna, cleaned it but still no radio. Has anyone had this problem and is it easily fixed without having to buy a new one? Thanks

Welcome to the site. I've seen a few threads on these and every one results in buying a new head unit. Now the decision is to buy a single din head unit with cd/mp3/sat down ect or a nicer double DIN head unit with all that plus dvd and navigation capabilities.
A single din needs only a simple wiring harness and install kit whereas the nicer and better looking double din needs to have a modified radio bezel for it to fit.
If you want to go that round then let me know as i make a lot of them for our dodge co-owners.
But either way, time to start price shopping.
