Default 4th gen seats

A friend of mine owns a 2005 3500 CTD lonestar, crew (or quad) with cloth seats. He has been looking for a 2009-2010 2500 for a different reason, if he gets a 2009-2011 2500 with leather, would they fit in the 2005 3500, without major mods?

Totally different design both in and out. I think he would have to do some modding to make them work! if he's not a fabricator, then I would consider it major work. I seriously dount it's a straight up bolt-n-go job.
