Default Why can"t I Post question?

Went to post a ? on 3rd gen FAQ's and how to do>>>and message came up saying I had no privlages on that forum....can anyone explain why I can post here and not there?

To keep the FAQ sections clean and uncluttered, making searching for common topics easier, members do not have the ability to create threads in the FAQ sections.

However, there is no reason you can't do it in here and request it be moved to the FAQ. If it's deemed "FAQ worthy" by the staff, it will be placed in there...

+1 Hammer, the last thing we need in the FAQ section is a hundred and one different posts on why "my AC only blows cold air when I drive but not when I stop."

I wasn't attacking you at all, merely poking fun at the fact that lately about every two days someone starts that thread.

But if you want to be all business, reading the rules and announcements at the top of the FAQ section are also sufficient to answer most common questions.
