Hello everyone, I bought a 2005 Ram SLT Quad Cab Hemi 4x4 with 55,000 miles. The truck is very clean but it makes a "Shuddering Noise" sometimes while driving. I looked under the wheel wells and looks like there's new control arms, I haven't asked the previous owner what it can be yet so I figured I'd put it out there and ask some of you.
Also, before I purchased it the owner had all the lights off of the truck and said he was "Detailing It". Now I've detailed cars b/f & know it doesn't require the lights to be off.
What are any other problems I should look for? Thanks for your help!

 

Have you had a carfax done on the truck? Was it in a wreck?

 

Check tie rod ends, bj's, etc. Are the tires wearing funny?

 

Maybe look at the rear differential? If you put it in reverse, stop, then go in forward, and it does it every time, that might be it.
