Default Anyone have these Bilstein Front shocks that also level the truck?

This seems like a NO-BRAINER, not only do you get to adjust you front suspension up to 2.8" but also get good Bilstein shocks with it, is this kit any good and does anyone on here have it?

I hear the 4x4 guys without torsion bars love 'em, but I couldn't use them on my 4x2.

^^^^ what he said. If I had a 4x4 and didn't want to drop the coin on a full lift kit I would go with those.

The Bilstein 5100's are a popular leveling solution for the 06+ crowd. You will find a lot of positive reviews from people that have these installed. Only potential issue is CV problems, but it is not as common with the bilsteins as with the 2.5-3 coil spacers.

It is pretty well acknowledged that this (the relocation of the coil perch) is a better way to level the front end than spacers. many people with the spacers run into the issue of their OEM shocks being too short, and you get a lot of topping out and beating on the shocks.

FYI 06-08 bilstein 5100's are 0-2" lift, 08+ are 0-2.8" lift.

Hows is the ride with them compared to stock? More or less comfortable? Are they super stiff? This truck is mainly highway use, no off-road

I got the bilstein 5100's on the front and i absolutely love them..Had stock shocks on the front before and it made a huge difference in the ride..made the ride feel so much smoother..it has been one of the best things that i have put on my truck i think..wish i would have got the rears as well together but i didnt..i would def recommend getting them.

PS..mine is a highway rider as well..you wont regret them
