Default Another Craigslist Deal

So i was scanning Craigslist Saturday morning as i usually do every week...i came across this guy selling his seats from an 2008 crew cab. All he wanted was my seats and $200. I was like this is great so i called him and scheduled a time, met him and now i have leather seats that look brand new. Im pretty excited because my drivers seat had a large hole from getting in and out and i had cloth.

Nice find for sure. I would like black leather seats except it sucks when its cold out. And the cloth seats absorb my sweaty self after PT days lol

So some guy had an uncontrollable urge to swap his perfect leather for someone else's 5-year-older worn cloth with hole(s) just to make a quick $200?

There sure are some weird people out there.

Oh, and now his truck has the old back seat with no headrests.

Well i guess i left that part out....the guy screwed his back up and was out of work for a year, so the bank will be repossessing his truck soon and he is trying recoup some of what he added.

Awesome deal. I have an app on my phone and I check daily but never find anything worthwhile...

VERY nice find sir! I am once again jealous of a fantastic craigslist opportunity. Are those stock leather seats? They do not look it.

I think they are re-skin'ed factory seats....kind of like catzkin but the company is out west somewhere....they look great and hardly have signs of wear.

What I like about leather over cloth...They stay very warm once you heat them up.
They also allow your shirt to slide around where as the cloth grabs onto it and untuck it from your pants.
I've worked several shirt/tie jobs and driven in both cloth and leather. By the time I get out from a cloth seated car wearing a dressy outfit, my shirt is all untucked and wrinkled in the back. With leather this doesn't happen!!
I know, I'm crazy and notice the weird things, but any motion and you feel restricted with cloth. Just my thoughts...
Also, leather wipes up spills easily and cloth just absorbs. I've been very careful in my truck and it shows every mark and because it's cloth it doesn't clean that well. Leather just wipes clean.
Just keep the leather conditioned and you'll be all set.

Look good btw. Nice score.
