I just did my frame and under bed with chassis saver. It is supposedly just as good as por15 and costs a lot less. Time will tell how good it actually is.

There is a product by CRC called "656". Its designed for marine application but it works excelent on things like your hitch reciever and door hinges. I spray my drop hitch and reciever every time i was the truck.

So I bought a Ram 1500 2004 and a few months later the rust started to show about each of the wheel wells. I sanded it down, primed and painted it (looked good) and a week later the rust was back.

It is my understanding that this is caused because it is rusting from the inside 9or in between both of the panels. I was told by a body shop that no matter how good of a sanding job I the rust will come back because I am only taking off that which I can see...not that which is actually there.

Should I attempt to do the job again but before priming or painting and after sanding apply the POR-15?

Any other tips or tricks?

the first time I did the job I just went to Rondex and got the supplies via spray cans.
