Well, for starters, replaced the pinion seal that I installed about 6000 miles ago. Replaced with double lip seal from NAPA this time. Thought maybe the slight vibration I'm getting at about 55 MPH might have something to do with it, so...

While I was at it, replaced both U-Joints and found fault with both of the old ones ... then thought ... hey ...

While I was at it, changed the oil and filter and thought, hey, the truck is on ramps, might be a good idea to .....

While I was at it, installed nerf bars. For some reason, I've always wanted these things and found a set on eBay for $140 shipped. Couldn't go wrong and think they compliment the truck nicely.

 

That's a lot of work in half a weekend! Bars look good on your truck.

 

Thanks for the compliments. I've seen trucks with them on and seemed okay looking but for some reason, they look better on my truck

Hah, as soon as I posted this, my window deflectors came in ... but it was a little dark so installed them this morning.



Not to mention a little armor all on the tires for that "icing on the cake."
