no they are pretty solid for a first year engine run but in seven years as mechanic at a dodge dealer i probably saw fortysome rams come in with valves blown by spring breakage and out of all of them i think maybe one was an early 04 that got the 03 springs and the rest were 03 trucks. they just had a couple first year growing pains.

Sounds like I should start saving for a cam & new springs before something happens. Another "forced upgrade opportunity"!
