Default Hid plug and play!! I found the right kit!

So i know all u 3rd gen ram guys have hid problems like lamp out and flickering and that you have to use relays and resistors but i have found a simple plug and play kit that works and installs within 10 minutes! Hidextra had a 50% off offer on all their kits and i bought 2 kits (fogs/heads) the fogs are just the regular 35 watt standard hid kit and heads are the new canbus hid kit which is also 35 watts. All the wires are plug and play and nothing else needs to be used - NO resistors,NO relays! Takes 10 minutes to install and works right away with NO flickering and NO lamp out lights. I made a youtube video of myself installing them and i will post it as soon as i upload it.

I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500

I got retro solutions 55w kit no issues had to run the relay to be safe as its 55w but works with and without resistors for me but I used them just in case down the road. Don't forget as the ballast ages it might flicker and give issues in time o know my vvme were perfect for my rig but as they aged they ended up needing a relay to put them in check, three years n counting all original ballast and bulbs too. I was gonna jump on that sale but missed it by procrastination and googlin hid reviews. When the price went up I seen retro solutions and they were located a few minutes from me so i had to support the local guy

Ive seen canbus ballasts before but they werent out when i bought my kits years ago and since i have something working, i never messed with them. Glad to hear these canbus kits from HIDextra work

Tons of kits are under that price but none I know that are CANBUS ballasts so you are back to square one needing resistors or capacitors depending on the year of your truck.

I paid $101 for my canbus kit and standard kit on black friday, normally it would have been $230
