I've searched various posts & threads to see what has been discussed and still unsure. My '05 stock truck has a really crappy ride with 120K+ miles on it. New tires are a given however I'm sure I need to replace the shocks and springs at this point. Is there a place to find a recommendation on when this should or should have been done? And is there something else additionally that I should look for? I cannot do this work myself so have to take into the shop. Truck isn't lifted or leveled...I am just looking for a smoother ride and truly for the safety factor. I saw the general consensus that Bilsteins or Rancho 9000's are the preference here but you've all done other suspension work to your rides as well.
