Default dual exhaust?

I hve an 05 quad cab that I'm going to probably make my own cai for or get an inexpensive one off ebay. But i would also like dual exhaust. Not so much for performance as I just like the looks of it . So my question is what ould be an inexpensive way to achieve this. and how much $ are you figuring that would be?

Better flow, the factory y pipe is very restrictive.

I'm guess i'm showing my ignorance here, if the new si/do muffler hooks up to the pipe in place of the old muffler and you bend new dual pipes coming off of the si/do where does the y pipe fit in?

Ok go from your engine block and find your headers. Which you have two of where you have 4 pipes on each side coming together to form one pipe (which is two pipes since you have this on both sides). Where these two pipes come together to form one pipe and the beginning of the "exhaust system" as most people know it is the Y pipe. Now if you ran dual in/ dual out or true duals you wouldnt have to worry about it but thats also way more expensive.
