American Racing Dagger Wheels - Anyone Have Them?
Just found these the other day. I really like the looks of them, but I'm not sure how they would look on my truck. I searched on here and found nothing. I also did a google search and found nothing there either.
The specs from American Racing's website are 17" x 8", 5 on 139.7mm bolt pattern, +12mm offset, so I know they'll fit. Problem is I found them on one website that said the backspacing was 3.97" and on another website it said the backspacing was 5", so I'll have to do some more research on that.
I don't really have much experience with American Racing wheels, so I don't know how they stack up to other companies. I also really like the Cepek DC2's, which I've seen a lot of on our Rams, so I'm up in the air.

I'm sure it's only because the manufacturer made that wheel with various backspacings to fit customers needs. Don't get a 4" backspacing. They'll stick out too far and look ridiculous. 5" backspacing will still stick out more than stock(only 1/4" on 8" rims) but will allow you to run slightly wdier/taller tires.(stock rims are 9", so replacement 9" rims with 5" BS will result in 3/4" further out than stock)
+12mm offset is a 5"backspaced wheel. They are directly proportionate to one another. The only difference from one to the other, is that offset is measured from the center of the wheel and BS is measured from the inside lip-rotor mounting surface. HERE is a chart which is located withn the Wheel fitment Sticky I created as well.
