I'm new to this forum. I have searched the old post's, but most of them are a year or more old. I have a 2006 1500 crew cab 4x4 with the TRX4 Off Road option. 5.7 engine. I'm looking for a leveling kit. I currently have 275-70-17 stock goodyears on the truck. Looking to install 285-70-17. Tire place says they will fit as is. I still want the truck to sit level. I had ordered a front level kit from supreme suspension. (E-Bay) Soon as I opened the installation instructions, it said "not compatible with the TRX4. Just want to get any info I can on which brand might fit the truck. I called a couple other that said the same thing about not fitting the TRX4.
Is there a difference in the TRX4, and TRX4 "off road"? I just want the truck to sit level and able to use the 285-70-17 at a reasonable price. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Look into Bilstein 5100s

 

Regardless of package, front suspension is the same on all of the '06-08 (possibly '09) 4x4s. Any lift system designed for those struts will work, including leveling struts or strut spacers.
