Well, got my first scratch on her today...I was exiting the highway and there was some "yard" work going on at the end of the exit. One of the guys had a weed whacker on the curb...where a lot of rocks pile up. One came flying at my door, left a small scratch. I'm just glad it didn't hit the window, and that it was small. I got some Dupli-Color Scratch Fix 2in1 and it actually worked really well. I'm so far the only one who can find it any more, that's just because I know where it's at. The color came out exactly the same, I have to let it sit for 24 hours...then I'm going to go over it again with the color, and then some clear coat it will be good enough for me. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else gets some small scratches and doesn't want to pay to fix it. That stuff is $14+tax for paint and clear at PepBoys...nice simple fix that works well, I'll take some pics tomorrow so you can see how well it worked.

I'm always careful when passing by dumbass's that dont have the courtesy to stop wacking or mowing with the chute wide open when you drive by.
You could have technically stopped and made him pay for the damages..lol

I live on a street thats fairly busy during the day. i stop wacking anytime a car drives by or pedestrains walk by. I stop mozing along the inside fence line if someone is pasing by on the sidewalk! Last thing I want is to get sued over a pebble.

You know I hate to say this, but with all the chrome of the bumpers, grill, steps and badges, I liked the wheel trim on it. Now debadged the wheel trim would have needed to be gone.
If it were me, I'd have either left the wheel trim on or debadged the whole thing.

BTW, agree that the pinstripe needs to go - get you a pinstripe eraser and you can use it to debadge too...

I didn't need anything to pull that pinstripe off, It was only about a week old on the truck. It peeled right off and left no marks. As for debadging the rest of the way...all I need is a hair dryer and some 3M Adhesive Remover, that makes it come right off with no paint damage.

Looks really sweet debadged like that. Did you remove it from the tailgate completely too?

Now all you need is some flat back hood spears and hockey stripes to bring it all together.

Not yet, I left the Lone Star badge for tomorrow because I had to go to work, but the Ram head is staying on the tailgate.

I had stripes on my last one and they were a pain to me, I'm leaving this one's paint smooth and clear.

And also, I'm off all day tomorrow, no school or work. So I'm going to have a fun day wiring up some blue LED's in the interior under the dash, and back seats so I can see at night in the truck. (I have a bad habit of dropping stuff...) Will post pics tomorrow when I'm finished. And thanks guys for all the input and comments, I LOVE this truck!!
