Made my own cai (4.7L)
(2003 Ram 1500 2wd Reg cab 4.7L, flopro muffler, redneck cai, 100k miles)
So I finally decided to try making my own cai as I've seen other members do here (PVC pipe and advancezone filters). I couldn't find any step-by-steps that weren't for the hemi, but my dad and I knocked it out in a few hours yesterday. I didn't snap any pix as its nothing you haven't seen before, but I wanted to ask about something that changed since I installed it...
She's idling at 500 rpm's where she used to be closer to 800-900. Is that normal/ok?
She gets up and goes now!
