Im thinking about running a 3 inch spintech muffler and exiting before the rear tire. Id like to see what other options are out there. I dont want to pay 600my for a catback so ill prob just weld something up. Let me know id like to hear what you guys think sounds the best!

 

I have an 18" magnaflow dumped just before the axle on my 02. It doesnt drone on the highway and isnt an annoying, obnoxious tin can sound but rather deep and throaty. Not overly loud but sounds good.

"other options" are endless and sound is subjective to ones taste. Watch some videos and get what ever sounds good to you.

 

My dakota was a 4.7 and i just had a 2.5 inch aummit muffler on it and actually liked how it sounded but i know a lot of people run spintechs. I just want a muffler that is not chambered

 

I had a custom y pipe welded up at the muffler shop and had them replace the stock muffler with an aero turbine muffler and now its loud and sounds awsome. The muffler was $90 and the shop charged me $25 for the y pipe and $50 to install it all.
