Ok, I have seen truck with a black plastic piece that clips on somewhere around the windshield wipers. It's sort of like a bug shield but on the other end of the hood. It looks similar to a tint strip. I think I could get away with this by the local police. I think they look gnarly also. Anybody know where to find these?!

Yes, exactly like that. Anybody have any pics of this on a 3rd gen? Installation pretty simple?

Can't help ya with a pic but the writeup on the Lund website you just pretty much use 3m double sided tape.
