I just installed a KDC-X695. I got lucky my infinity system amp was one of the older 04's that isn't turned on via PCI-bus. Sounds great! Drilled a hole dash for the mic that came with it too. Very pleased!

Default mic location

I am installing a double Din tomorrow with the BT... How is the call quality with the mic mounted in the dash?

It's decent, I have yet to upgrade the firmware which enhances BT sound quality. If you do it, don't mount it flush, leave the holes in the sides of the mic exposed as well. I mounted it to the left of the climate control directional switch underneath the vent that's there.
