for your 08, you can get a factory unit, its simply plug and play(with lock pic), and there is pertty much an unlimited amount of aftermarket options, either full decks or add on screens, nither one of my trucks came from the factory with the mygig, i bought them online and installed myself, to put a mygig in yours you have two options, trim the bezel to fit (what i did, to keep the storage slot under the radio) or get the nav bezel , and mygig filler plate for the nav bezel, or even install the factory ram nav unit, but they are nothing like the mygigs!

heres the mygig in my mega cab

I have found that Brandmotion.com has some nice Rearview Mirrors with a Monitor built in to them. They look almost Stock OEM.

as a former installer I really liked this camera:

There are a ton out there... best option is to pick a price range and then pick the one that meets your personal needs as well as has good reviews. (the higher # of reviews the better) 3 out of 5 stars with 100 reviews is better than 5 out of 5 stars with 10 reviews...

Oh and FYI, stay away from the "wireless" cameras out there... they are garbage.
