Again, i am sure it's great. But is it worth the extra $$ over a K&N or Mobil1 filter? For a daily driver fairly stock engine, i would think not. These engines don't see extreme oil pressures and from the reviews i have seen for the RP Filter, it does not have anything other high end filters have that warrant the higher price. And as information, the RP filter is also made by Champion Labs.

These are well made oil filters. A lot of thought and work went into them. Here's a cool Horsepower TV video on the RP filter:

I just installed one myself. I can feel the extra weight of the filter compared to other filters I've used.
