Let me start off by saying I read the sticky.

I know the tires that will fit, but im wondering how do they look? I have the stock 20's on mine now, and I hate them. I'd really like to put 35's on 17 inch rims, but I know there is a balance between lifting and tire size. What would be a good lift amount to make the tire and lift not look disproportionate. By this I mean, I dont want my truck lifted with itty-bitty tires. I was thinking about a 3'' lift with 35's. Any input, pictures and advice would be greatly appreciated!

 

3in with 35s would be perfect. You shouldnt go any higher than 35s on a 1500 anyways

I would try to find a 17x9 rim for 35s in all honesty because the 35 is going to be wide and the rule of thumb is the rim width plus 3 and then give or take 1

 

So are you saying 35s wont fit?
