Default Treadwrights

Hey everyone, I searched but couldn't find too many people saying much. What do you guys think of Treadwright tires? I am looking at the Warden in 285/70/17 (D). Awesome price, and I know they are re-treads, but every single thing I have read says the company is amazing and the tires last. I read if you have any issues they replace the tires free, quickly. Also, they match the carcases and you can request different ones if they have them in stock. Any opinions on them? Otherwise I am looking at the General Grabber AT.

I think someone here a long time ago bought some retreads and they never mentioned any issues.

My step-dad was a cheapskate and bought retreads. I was in his car twice when he had blow-outs. The second time was on a family vacation, on the interstate, 3 1/2 hours from home. My mom refused to go anywhere in his car after that unless he'd buy "real" tires.

I dunno, I always viewed buying retreads kinda like deciding to marry a hooker...
