Default rims and tires

what are the widest rims and tires that i can fit on my 03 ram 1500 4x4 crew cab with a 2" leveling kit?

i was thinking 17x9 rims with 35x70R17s but idk if they will rub

It really depends on the offset of the wheel tbh......i have a -4 offset on mine and they work just fine and im running 315/70/17

I can't help you a lot but what I can say is that being an owner of a bagged '67 C-10 with 32in tires and I can cruise at 1in from rockers. My '08 Ram is lower 2/4.5 on 33's. If you get the correct offset your good to go!

Well, aren't the 4x4's like an inch taller than the 2x4? If so I'm 3/5.5 lower than you dudes and rolling on 33/12.50's!

Not all 4x4s are necessarily taller than a 2WD and also to the OP a 35/70R17 is not a tire size until you left out a number on the first part.

Hmm, I only thought that because I sit my beside my buddies 4x4, and it was an inch taller, that's why I lowered mine. I also never go by tire numbers, only true measured tire diameters and widths.


Armoredadam just do what us rock crawler guys do and cut whatevers in the way lol.
