Default Fuel Door

I decided it was time to do something about the pitting in the finish on my chrome fuel door. You can kinda see it in the before pic. Here's what I came up with:

After:

All in all, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially since the whole project cost a whopping $6.

You can't really tell from the photo, but it's actually color-matched Patriot Blue. I'm slowly chipping away at the list of "improvements" the previous owner made. Next up, the door handles. These things didn't bug me as much when I had a company truck and drove this one maybe once a month. Thankfully, I got to leave that Chevy up in North Dakota and never have to see it again.

As far as black goes, I just don't see it looking as good with the blue as it does on white or red trucks. So for now, the chrome grille and bumpers stay, as does the stainless grille guard. Everything else is fair game though.
