not sure if its louder or not but i just figured 2 exits have to equal a greater flow rather than one exit. thats the only reason i got the SI/DO design. i also got the 7425 because i dont have any other aftermarket pipes on it yet.

I would have opted for the DI/DO myself and done away with the "Y" pipe completely (although I do have an aftermarket Y that flows way better than stock. But my SI/DO Cherry Bomb just showed up at the door one day via FedEx. Didn't order it, didn't pay for it. One of the perks of being the idle o' millions I guess, LMAO...

Mine is also SIDO. I looked at my y-pipe/cat section of my stock exhaust and it looks as if they tie in very closely. The Magnaflow y-pipe I bought is almost as long as the stock cat alone. And to top it off, I didn't buy the y-pipe with the O2 sensor bung on it. So I will either have to have one welded on, or try to get that small section of exhaust and weld it to the y-pipe. To top things off, my Magnaflow y-pipe is almost as long as my stock cat, so I will have to extend the wiring on my O2 sensor, unless I weld on a bung at the beginning of the y-pipe where they come together. We'll see what happens in a couple of months after I am home. I may just replace all the piping from the y-pipe back so it doesn't resemble frankenstien as much...lol. Well, it still may, but at least it will be a new Frankenstien...

everything is stock in my exhaust besides when i put the extreme on, so thats why i went with the smaller diameter 2.5" in and 2 1/4" dual outs. once i get some more funds i will get a new y pipe and maybe headers if i can get a deal on long tubes but for now i just want the sound. and for 72 bucks shipped to my door i cant really complain about it lol.
