I'm not to sure what this SuperChips Advance Spark really is and if it will benefit me by changing it?

I don't know a whole lot about it and if it's that beneficial, but what I have read about it is that it helps with low end torque in which you can have the spark start to ignite before the piston hits top dead center where as on the stock tuning the spark ignites after the piston is already at the top dead center position. But this also could accumulate engine knock, which is a premature combustion of the fuel/gas mixture. So to me it seems like its not worth it to mess with it.

Like I said I am not an expert on this and only read about it somewhere so hopefully someone else that knows a little more can chime in.
