Default Custom Sub Box. UNIQUE

Hey guys, I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 HEMI SLT Quad Cab. I am looking for some more mods to do, and I decided that I want to put new subs in my truck. I have been thinking, and I love loud bass, so i want to do something rather unique.

I want to remove my rear 60/40 seat, and place 2 bucket seats in the rear. I also want to remove my center console between my drivers seat and my passenger seat. Then, I will have a custom box built running all the way from the front of the truck to the back, probably placing 3-4 Kicker 12" CVX subs in it.

All I need help with is trying to find out whether bucket seats will fit in the back, whether I will need to have new brackets made, and where I can get these seats for the back?

I think I can use the 40% Seat as it is kind of a bucket seat, so then I just need one more of those, unless you guys think I need to replace it and get 2 bucket seats from the front of a donor truck.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. If any of you have heard of this being done, or have done it yourself, please post pictures. I am very interested in doing this, but it will definitely be a project, so I'm looking for any help I can get.

I am a few steps ahead of you. I'm doing everything you are plus adding a full computer system with touch screens, custom switch plates and a floor shifter. The buckets in the rear are do-able but not a direct bolt in. You need to make custom brackets and weld them in place so you can bolt the seats down.

Oh wow, thats sweet. Did you use bucket seats from the front of a truck, or bucket seats from the rear of a truck? Also, where did you find your new bucket seats for the rear?

I'm using buckets from the front because I wanted full headrest so I can add screens in them. I bought them from a salvage yard. There were a lot on ebay last time I looked but most were chit and the ones that were good were priced too high for the seats plus shipping
