anyone use miracle paint on their truck?
It seems out of POR 15, Miracle paint and a few others, at least to my reading of testimonials that Miracle paint is the best one.
My intentions here since I live in upstate NY (winter salt capitol of the USA it seems) and my 04' Dodge came from PA(salt free) and has yet to see a NY winter are to take out the inner fender liners front and rear and paint all of the inner fender areas with this stuff then ofcourse re install the liners. Also plan on coating my cab mounts, insides of the rockers, cab corners ect, inner bottom lip on the tail gate ect....all the prime spots.
I'm wondering for places like inner fender wells on the box where the paint is smooth do I need to hit it with a light DA once over or just paint right onto the smooth paint?

best rust stopper in the world and its been tested has to be chassis saver , its designed to be painted over rust, just use a wire brush to get rid of all the flaky stuff, it will encapsulate and reforms rust into a sacrificial barrier .
I probably should point out that there isnt any rust on the body of my truck. Im doing it as a preventative measure. Theres only a little normal surface on the cab mounts and such.
I forgot about chassis saver.

in any case this stuff is the best undercoating, i have used por 15 and 3m rust fighter and almost anything on the market and its the best, por 15 likes to lift up if it comes in contact with oil, rust fighter like any rubberized undercoating flakes off easy.
