Programmer Question
I purchased a 2002 Dodge Ram with a 5.9 L Cummins in it, I'm using it to pull a 2 car hauler combined 15K Lbs. I want to get a programmer and wanted some advise on which on to get in order to get more torque and better fuel economy, just started my business so I would like the best for a reasonable price. If any one has experience with a good programmer please let me know... Thanks
If you are in a Cummins i wouldnt use a superchip IMO.(Im not sure if SC makes a Diesel Tune). EFI live is the 1 hands down but thats 1,000 dollars and up to 300 added hp (if needed) and more bells and whistles than most Daily Drivers need.
Other than that i would start at Edge Or Edge Juice W/Attitude.
Some people like BullyDogs, i dont.

Ok and so $1000tuner versus a $400 or less depending where you buy it SuperChips tuner
Not sure which is more reasonable...?
Oh and yes SuperChips make tuners for the Cummins or else I wouldn't have referred to it

Well now i know now that they make one. And i was just throwing out options the EFI Live is a great choice and has a lot more saftey features to save parts from breaking opposed to a Handheld tuner. But Yes for cheap it isnt the right coice but you can get them used all day long at 600 or so not to far off from the handheld.
