I don't care manual or automatic but even if I did I would have rather had a Hemi auto over a baby 4.7 manual, no offense

Drove my uncles 2012 Dodge Ram 4.7 and what a dog compared to my 02 Ram 5.9

As for the Rev. question, why would anyone go out and rev the crap out of their truck, just leads to problems later on when treating a motor like that, I know from experience lol in my work truck

like i said in my other post, just tried it once too see cuz never heard anybody else talk about it, and then went back to 150 above stock limiter.it reved crisp and clean when i did it, but that dosent mean the valves didnt float some.maybe one day ill look into building one that can rev that high comfortablly all day long and change out the rear gear. just maybe, if its possible.

valves floated bunches. cam it if you wanna rev out that high. plus when does a stock cam in those 4.7's stop making power? Im not a fan of the 4.7's either.. Seen a lot of them with spun bearings.. from people winding em out n stuff.

Any motor you treat bad is eventually going to crap out, just dont go marking time off your block by doing stuff like this. Cause id know id be pissed to say i blew my motor revving it up in the drive way.....
