Becarful dumping them after the cab you give up alot of HP/Back pressure
Here is post 6
Im talking about just dumping in general, in Texas only trucks can have dumped pipes and for them to be legal you have to have them past the cab, not ever moving the position of the muffler.

Im not so sure about moving the muffler, wouldnt hurt but im pretty sure they put it in a great spot.

ya i would leave it where its at now and just do a dump. Im kinda starting to think I dont want to do it lol. I love loud but Im worried about being to loud. Does magnaflow have any good sounding mufflers that are decently loud but not as loud as the cherry bomb? Maybe ill just do some headers

have you done an intake? That makes a big difference in sound honestly. Yes magnaflows have a nice sound and are not as loud. If you are really concerned that would be a good route to go. They've got good flow too.

Magnaflow all the way i had a flowmaster 50 HD but the Magnaflow performs so much better. To me i would rather have the better performance and it be a tad quieter. Plus ANY aftermarket muffler is going to be loud at 3AM....its dead silent outside lol

If you are trying to keep it quiet and get power like i said dumping is stupid.
Its 10x louder and really kicks the back pressures a**.
Magnaflow sounds better on Dodges if you ask me and they actually have some power benefits unlike Flowmaster

Here's the noob question of the week; what do you guys mean when you say you are "dumping" the exhaust?

im not exactly trying to keep it quiet my flowmaster is pretty loud and I wouldnt mind it even being a little louder then what I have im just not sure I want cherry bomb loud does that make sense? dumping is where you have a turn down right after the muffler
