Few things going on here. First, I have noticed a slight ticking noise in the past 1500 miles on my truck. ( 06 single cab 4x4 with 4.7 91k miles) I did switch oils to Qusker state high milage on last oil change, don't know if that is it or I just have very sensitive ears. Second, my vehicle is idleing erratic. On morning cold starts it fluctuates from 800 to approx 1200 back and forth for about 30 sec. After driving I can put it in park and it will idle very low( about 500 rpm) I changed plugs about 5k miles ago as well as using a Superchips programmer. ( programmed to economy ) Any ideas guys?

 

This is in the wrong spot someone needs to move this to the right section so you can get some better help and people will see it.

The SC Tunner has a Idle set RPM what is yours at?(Mine is set to 500 RPMs) Last time You changed plugs? Any codes?

 

No codes. Changed plugs about 4-5 k ago

 

Try Cleaning Your Throtttle Body, If you havent dont that in 5k or more its more than likey dirty. While you do this remove the neg battery cable and go about cleaning, when done put it back together then reattach the neg battery cable then go turn your key in you truck to the run position(Without Starting) and let it sit for 30 sec or till all of your gauge cluster lights turn off, when they do that means that your truck relearned all the pramaters.
