Edge performance chip
Your Mech is going to say one of two things,
1: Programmers are what you make them
2: Dont put it on there it will tear everything up.
Theres not much that your Mech can see or do to tell if a programmer will hurt something.
And like Colby said he used a performance mode when he was towing, it Boldly stated not to do so, if you follow all the instructions as you program your truck you will be fine.
And Colby also stated that he kept the tune all the way up which is a no no unless you have a beefed up trans and other performance parts to match the added stress,
Im assuming that Edge is still able to change tune when ever? And that you are able to change certain settings inside that tune? If so then you will find a happy medium with your programmer.
Dont be worried to many people have ran there programmers the right way and had no problems, thats why they still sell. And dont let horror stories get to you, follow the instructions and youll be ok

You dont need any upgrades to handle your Programmer.
If you had to buy a slew of parts to handle your programmer then no one would buy them
You do need to upgrade parts if you are going to have the PROGRAMMER AT THE HIGHEST TUNE FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, Or if YOU DONT USE IT RIGHT.
Other than that your stock parts will be ok.
By the way if you were to buy all the upgrades to handle THE TOP TUNE you would spend well over 2500 dollars just FYI.
