Default Will my truck pull pull a 28' enclosed trailer?

Getting ready to move into my first house and trying to get together a trailer for loading all of our things: furniture, beds, boxes, dressers and things that normally would be in a houes. My question to you guys is: I have a buddy that said i could borrow his fully enclosed 28' trailer for hauling all of our things, but i am just not sure if the truck will handle that weight or not. I dont know how much the trailer weighs nor do i know how much tongue weight it has. I havent even seen the trailer. I just thought with some of you towing things, that you would have a little idea on if that would work or not. I would be traveling prolly 50 miles with the trailer.

My truck is a:

2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4
3.92 gears
Airlift Airbags installed as well recently

Same specs for 2004-2008.

As long as the total weight is below 8k then your fine. Anything over is going past OEM limits. It'll pull it, but you can get ticketed and towed for it.
I'd say the trailer empty weights ~3500lbs.

Thanks Dirty..I think that you are pretty close on the empty weight of the trailer. I did some searching today and they were all roughly 3000-4000lbs empty..so as long as we dont put 3000lbs of stuff in the trailer, then i shouldnt have a problem. And i seriously dont think i have that much stuff that it would add up to that. At least i dont think lol

You might need to be careful how you load it so you down make the hitch weigh too much but I would think you would be fine.
