Well, my baby has been good to me, no breakdowns or failures for 3+ years, with the exception of a new battery.
Now, the airbags light started acting up. Figured now would be a good time to replace the dash, it's cracked horribly.
Anyway, I was looking at the dashcaps but I am afraid down here in the Texas heat, they will eventually deform @ the cracked areas.
I purchased a fiberglass replacement dash that I then painted with a matte high temp enamel. Should withstand anything the Texas sun can throw at it.
I also got a new heater core to put in at the same time.
I am wondering if it's recommended to get the heater box from Dodge or is there just any particular door that I should just swap out. I'm willing to spend the money if it's a good idea. Any thoughts? Figured I'd get started this weekend, I have some time finally and the weather is finally getting nice.

The blend door is usually a thing that goes out also.ive heard there a pita to change cause you have to take the dash apart also. You might want to replace that whole you got it all apart
