Use royal purple full synthetic great oil and nothing breaks down the oil.
do not use mobil one as it only has a lot of cleaners in it. what you want is good oil strength not alot of cleaners like transmission oil .

 

I use Castrol Syntech High Mileage 10-30 with Fram or K&N Oil filter. Had many engines blow in other cars (due to my stupidity or lack of maintenance). Never had an engine failure due to oil before. Maybe from waiting 15-20K between oil changes. Just driving back and forth to work, I got to change my oil at least once a month.
