Angry Venting...

Had 3 bubbles appear on my 2007 Ram's passenger quarter panel a few weeks ago.. Today one popped and has brown water marks on the paint.. They are about the size of a dime.. I called on this when I first saw it a few weeks ago and was told my warranty for this ran out in April.. Nice.. Also was told this is a very common problem... 5 years old and its rusting thru.... Unreal... Sure i live in Pa But 5 years??

You have now joined the club. A very poorly designed fender on our trucks. Salt and $hit get in and don't wash out.

Mine did the same thing last summer. I covered it with a heavy coat of POR15 inside and outside, then installed fender flares.

Looks nice! Rust all gone (as far as the naked eye is conserned)

Look around, you won't be the only one with rusting rear fenders. I really didn't notice it much until mine had it too.

07 rusting eh? thats the newest ive heard of rusting. preventative maintence suggestion if i may!
dissasemble your tailgate. the bottom on the inside needs to be treated and undercaoated or it will rust through. when the tailgates on these 3rd gen rams corrode its the worst sight you can see

It's a typical Dodge problem. Yep, I had it on my Dakota. It sucked. I know I will get in on my Ram soon. I've got all the proper products to combat it. Hopefully I am successful this time.

Sorry, I didn't mean surface rust/bubbles, I meant products for in the fenders. Aside from a Rust repellant and some undercoating, that's all I think we can do.
