Wow!!!!

You guys are just a stones throw from the border!!!!

I'm originally from Glendale, My folks and brother live up in the Prescott area now

Howdy, (almost) Neighbor! This thread got buried so fast, I didn't know there was any other responses. Yeah, I am currently 2 miles from the border. And when I finish moving over between Bisbee and Douglas by the end of the month, I'll be 1.5 miles from the border. I wanted to give an update on the truck for anyone considering a 6 cyl/6 spd Ram. The first tank of fuel was 21.91 mpg, by mileage/fuel used, not the display. 2nd tank of fuel is 23.2 mpg. As my wife and I learn to work with the torque band and rpm's, I think we'll beat the 23 mpg. This is a great combo for folks who don't need a heavy work truck, but live in a very rural and rocky road type area. If we can just maintain 23 mpg, I'll be extremely satisfied. The window sticker(still in the glove box) says 15/19 mpg is expected. Sure, if you're towing 10,000# everyday.

It sounds like the 3.7 is a good fit for what you guys are using it for.

Glad it's working out for you, heed hammer's warning about maintaining the coolant system and paying close attention that it doesn't overheat and it should last you for years. Sound like you got a nice buy.
