Dear God this guy is really sticking to his guns here. For the record everyone who serves puts themselves in harms way everyday because there is always the chance they can get deployed and there is always the threat of being attacked at home (Ft. Hood comes to mind right away). And we are a volunteer service. No one forces us to sign up to fight we do it for the love of our country and what it stands for. That's why I joined. The pay and the benefits are just a bonus.
