Default Dual Zone HVAC bulb replacement

I have the dual zone HVAC controls and half my bulbs are shot. I read that these bulbs are soldered in place compared to the regular HVAC controls. Does anyone have any insite into this i am really not looking to switch over to LED bulbs.

Mine don't come on until I punch the dash...then the HVAC controls light up.

If they were soldered in then likely they are LED's. In my opinion Dodge put LED's in places where people wouldn't want to replace bulbs, and where they didn't want to bulbs to burn out for 50,000 hours.

If they were soldered in, they are likely LED's already and shouldn't have gone out.....so since they've gone out I would only speculate that they are regular bulbs and should be replaceable.

Check the service manual, it should specify if they are a replaceable item or if the entire unit needs to be replaced.

My 2003 Laramie also has the dual climate control, but the bulbs are indeed soldered in, and they are the legacy incandescent filament-type bulbs - definitely not LEDs. They also have a blue silicone "hoodie" over them. Only the bulb between the fan/damper control ***** is burned out, but it's the only one in the area so I'm looking to try and replace it with a dimmable LED with leads.
Any suggestions where I can find a compatible (blue) LED bulb?
