Help with tire decision
I recently got a great deal on an 02 1500 SLT. The tires that came on it are going to need to be replaced soon. I saw General Grabber HTS tires on tirerack that seem to meet my needs (link below).
I have three things I'm considering:
1) Most of what my truck will be used for will be highway towing a small boat.
2) A few times each year, I spend a few days surf fishing during which I'll be spending a lot of time (mostly parked) on sand.
3) I'm in southeastern PA so I'll see some snow, but not too bad too often.
I'm curious if anyone has any input? I can't spend an arm and a leg on tires and I've read that more or less, deflated street radials will do the job on the sand.
Does anyone have any tires for a comparable price that have worked well for you in similar conditions?

For what you use them for, I don't see anything wrong with those. Seems like a decent price too. Most people will tell you that aggressive off road tires have trouble in the sand, especially when not aired down. I'll attest to this as well. Most street tires don't even need to be aired down on the sand and still work just fine.
